About

Hi, I am Fredericka Amfo Boakye-Duah – wife, sister, daughter, friend, and a passionate builder of solutions. I wear many hats: Co-founder of Goro Girl, Host and Content Creator of The Diary of a Ghanaian Lawyer Podcast, Senior Associate at a top-tier law firm in Ghana, and a proud African woman driven by purpose and creativity.

From my school days, I have always looked for ways to make life easier for others. Back in Senior High School, I read out and recorded books for visually impaired students when braille or audiobook versions didn’t exist. That instinct to solve problems has stayed with me ever since.

Goro Girl was born out of a personal challenge, that is, the struggle to find reliable service providers across different regions in Ghana. When I realized I was not alone in this, I built a platform to connect people to trusted professionals and service providers more easily.

My love for learning and storytelling naturally led me to create The Diary of a Ghanaian Lawyer Podcast. It is my way of demystifying Ghana’s legal landscape – offering insights, stories, and the truths I wish more people knew about the law and those who practice it. Podcasts are powerful; they allow you to learn while driving, cooking, or living and I love that.

I also initiated Law Tips for Dofoyena Chambers to help fellow legal professionals navigate legal principles more efficiently. As the saying goes, “A good lawyer is not the one who knows all the laws, but the one who knows where to find them.” In this age of short attention spans, I believe in making legal knowledge quick, clear, and accessible because ignorance is expensive, and growth should be shared.

Whenever I face a problem and cannot find a solution, I create one; not just for myself, but for everyone who might be facing the same struggle.

This platform is where I share my journey across Ghana’s regions, my professional growth- from fresh graduate to Senior Associate and a serial entrepreneur. I will share my wins, my failures, and everything in between.

Thanks for being here. Let’s grow together.
